The bread and butter of many lawyers is "personal injury." 

Mostly, it is straight forward money for us. That isn't to say it is easy work. To handle a personal injury case right takes a lot of "detail" work. The training and experience a lawyer gains over the years uniquely prepares him/her for how to handle a case like this.

Don't think you can negotiate with an insurance company on your own. You probably can't. 

Most insurance companies are very honest BUT they won't give their money away for free. They  have share holders or owners who expect nothing less. They have lawyers to tell them what they can legally "get away with". If there is a legal way they can keep their money, they will. You NEED a lawyer that knows this and can use every legal way to increase your right to be paid for your loss.
